My Story

I come from a LONG line of 'secret-keepers', so naturally, I'm on a mission to find answers.  I've spent a lot of years digging, and spent more money than I care to calculate.  For quite some time I was self-taught, the internet was new and most of what I knew were stories told by my parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.  It was a start...

I've since worked through online courses, surfed the net (endlessly!), discovered like-minded souls sharing my passion, and learned how and where to find the information I'm seeking. I love cemeteries and have been known to pull over just to have a wee wander. Not everyone's cuppa but it works for me!

At gatherings of any kind, you'll recognize me as the one asking the all-important question, "Have you researched your family history?"   The thrill of finding answers to your questions, or perhaps something hidden, is a big part of why I do what I do.
